Since April 2022 Johannes Diemer is employed as Research Coordinator at ARENA2036. Earlier he was working as Manager Industrie 4.0 responsible for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) for DXC Technology, which was established when the earlier Computer Science Corporation (CSC) and the Enterprise Service Organization of Hewlett Packard Enterprise merged in April 2017. Since he started at Hewlett-Packard as technical consultant 1996, he took over managerial functions within Germany as product manager, sales manager for High Education and later for High Performance Computing. November 2011 he accepted a role as business development manager to work out and promote central themes for the country management. In April 2015 he took offer the role as Manager Industrie 4.0. His range of tasks included the cross-business-unit planning, execution and control of the Group's own Industry 4.0 program for EMEA. In this context he also managed related research activities and collaborations and was engaged in HPE’s and DXC’s program for start-ups. Since 2011 Johanness is contributing to the German initiative “Industrie 4.0”. He was a member of the steering board of the “Plattform Industrie 4.0” and further related institutions. In a part-time job Johannes runs his own company Diemer Consulting 4.0 e.K. consulting companies and politics on Industrial Digitisation. He is particularly concerned with the sustainable use of electromobility, A new area of interest is the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
