My professional journey started with sourcing and partner management at Sony Ericsson in the innovative and fast-moving mobile phone industry. The next stop on my learning journey was the cultural and value driven IKEA where I dealt with sourcing of IT software, hardware, and services from Mega vendors to niche players. IKEA’s mission and way of working is truly impressive and gave invaluable insights to how customer value could be created and delivered cost-efficient and straightforward. After joining Tetra Pak, I got the opportunity to be part of a business development team focusing on digital transformation. In this role we explored and experimented with new ways of working based on design thinking, lean startup / the startup ways and agile. A privilege to get this chance to pave the way for a better tomorrow! However, the battle against traditional business cases inflated with vanity and familiar innovation through technology steps sold through known business isn’t won over night. In my current role I use all experience and insights gathered in the past to drive innovation and create value customer value through a robust automation solution and the vision of a digital mass customization platform.
The Pop in Your Job:
I have a strong believe in that everything is possible to make better and the journey starts with being able to (and allowed!) to ask the critical and “right” questions - even if the answer is tough and requires a lot of efforts – both to customers but also to challenge status quo internally.
Collaboration, curiosity and courage are key ingredients in the innovation mix, but you also need transparency and a big portion of stamina. In the best of worlds, the fuel is passion but any driving force that creates a movement towards exploring something better will do!
