Join Mustafa Ali Khan as he presents on “Transformation of Manufacturing and the Role of Digitalization in Polymer Production.” In this engaging talk, Mustafa will explore the application of digital technologies within polymer production processes, shedding light on the synergistic effects between Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and automation in the textile value chain. Drawing from experience in Industry 4.0 projects, Mustafa will provide insights into the strategic implementation of IIoT in practice, highlighting key learnings and best practices. Additionally, he will address industrial pain points and challenges encountered in the context of the smart factory, offering valuable perspectives on navigating the digital transformation landscape in polymer production. Attendees can expect to gain a comprehensive understanding of the transformative potential of digitalization in modern manufacturing processes. Investigating these central aspects will broaden participants’ understanding of the following topics:
Experienced professional with over 10 years of international experience in building and scaling digital products with expertise in Project management, Software product lifecycle management, and product management in B2B context. In my current role I am a customer solution consultant engaging customers on digitalization of manufacturing processes. In this role, I explore bottlenecks in the production processes, ideate new products and concepts with customers, and translate technical requirements to business requirements and vice versa. Pop in my job/ motivators
1. Problem solving with digitalization: I enjoy dealing with complex issues and uncertainty that comes with developing, implementing and maintaining digital products in manufacturing sites. The complexity and risk are compounded by the fact that you are dealing with multiple third-party systems, different generation of machines, standards and protocols and most importantly varied cultures, expectations and needs, and management styles.
2. Creating new products: I am driven by the idea of creating something new and by the entire product development process. From ideation to prototyping, testing, releasing, feedback generation, and the CI/ CD process.
3. Making a quantifiable impact or achieving results: it gives me immense pleasure to see a product or service do its job properly and meet shareholder expectations.
