Smart factory pilots are often implemented in companies. But how does a global rollout succeed? How can employees be qualified worldwide? Economic potential can only be leveraged if these questions are answered positively. A methodical approach has been developed over the last few years, starting with pilot projects and ending with a learning architecture. The practical experiences will be presented in the lecture.
During his professional career at Siemens, Staufen AG, MT Aerospace and currently Webasto, Dr. Walter Huber primarily responsible for strategic changes. He is currently employed as Director Processes, Methods and Tools in the area of production and manufacturing technology with the main focus on the implementation of Smart Factory topics.
He has implemented over 40 Industry 4.0 projects and supported several companies in the digital transformation towards Industry 4.0. Two books entitled "Industry 4.0 in automobile production" and "How technologies are changing our economy and our companies" have been published by Springer-Verlag.
